Living Waters: Art Supporting Health & Wellbeing

Client Overview

AIHW is a national agency providing authoritative information and statistics on Australia’s health and welfare.

  • The artwork needed to meaningfully reflect the interconnected nature of health and welfare, while existing within a space of daily movement and activity.

  • We created Living Waters, an artwork guided by principles of care, balance, and collective responsibility. Flowing water forms the central visual language, symbolising life, renewal, and continuity. Circular gathering motifs represent connection and shared responsibility, while pathways reflect access, coordination, and systems of care working together.

  • Installed within the carpark environment, Living Waters serves as a daily reminder that wellbeing is an ongoing, shared process — supported through health and welfare working together over time.
